Celebrating excellence across Australia’s window shading industry.

The WSAA Industry Awards recognise outstanding contributions across the window shading sector, from product innovation and sustainability to community engagement and retail excellence.

Taking place in 2026, the program celebrates the businesses and individuals helping to strengthen the industry, raise standards, and shape its future.

Key Dates

The inaugural WSAA Industry Awards will be held on 11 June 2026 at The Star, Gold Coast, during the WSAA’s triennial gala dinner.

This prestigious evening coincides with our trade show event and offers a unique opportunity to connect, reflect, and honour excellence across the industry.

How to Enter

Entries will be managed through our dedicated online platform. The system is easy to use and has been designed to guide you step-by-step through the submission process.

Members can select their category, answer a tailored set of questions, and upload supporting documents, imagery, or videos.

Once submitted, entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges. Finalists will be notified ahead of the event.

Winners will be announced and presented live on stage at the WSAA Gala Dinner during Super Expo at The Star, Gold Coast.

The Hall of Fame

The WSAA Hall of Fame recognises individuals who have made an enduring impact on the Australian window shading industry.

Established in 1999, this honour is awarded during the year of the SuperExpo to individuals who have demonstrated long-term leadership, contribution, and innovation in the field.

Eligibility

Nominees must either be currently in the industry and a current financial member of the WSAA, or recently retired from the industry and held WSAA/BMAA membership for 10 years or more.

Criteria

Nominees must have given outstanding service and/or have contributed significantly to the industry, with any volunteering work for the Association also taken into consideration.

Nominees should demonstrate a history of:

  • Prolonged industry experience and a record of achievement.
  • High integrity and professional respect within the industry.
  • Contribution to product innovation or the introduction of new technologies or practices.
  • Active and voluntary involvement in WSAA/BMAA activities.
  • Promotion of the industry’s reputation and public awareness.
  • Investment in workforce development, skills training or mentoring.
  • Charitable contributions or broader community service beyond the industry.
