The Window Shading Association of Australia (WSAA) has announced the finalists for the inaugural WSAA Awards 2026, recognising businesses across five award categories that are driving excellence, innovation and positive change across Australia’s window shading industry.
Finalists were assessed by an independent judging panel drawn from across Australia and internationally, with each submission evaluated on its merits against the specific criteria for each award category.
Winners will be announced on stage at the WSAA Gala Dinner during SuperExpo2026 on Thursday 11 June 2026 at The Star, Gold Coast.
Community Impact Award
Recognises WSAA members who have made a meaningful difference through initiatives that positively impact their local or broader community.
Product Sustainability Award
Recognises members demonstrating measurable environmental impact through the design, manufacture or delivery of a window shading product or system.
Product Innovation Award
Recognises a newly launched product by a WSAA member that demonstrates originality, ingenuity and market relevance within the window shading industry.
Independent Retailer Award
Recognises an outstanding independently owned and operated window shading business demonstrating strong business acumen, authentic brand identity and an unwavering focus on customer experience.
Wholesale Manufacturing Excellence Award
Recognises Australian-based wholesale manufacturers demonstrating leadership in innovation, sustainability, continuous improvement and operational performance.
The WSAA Awards are the first industry-wide awards program dedicated to recognising excellence across Australia’s window shading sector. Open exclusively to current WSAA members, the program is judged by an independent panel with relevant product and industry experience, ensuring impartial assessment of each submission.
WSAA CEO Wesley Fawaz said the quality of entries across the categories reflected the depth of talent and commitment within the industry. “The standard of submissions has been genuinely impressive. These finalists represent businesses that are not only performing well commercially, but contributing to a stronger, more innovative and more responsible industry. We look forward to celebrating them in June.”
The WSAA Gala Dinner will be held during SuperExpo2026 at The Star, Gold Coast on Thursday 11 June 2026. The WSAA Award winners Winners will be announced on stage by MC Dave Hughes, with entertainment on the night from The Franky Smart Band.
